Jessica was born to an Army Father and a mother who was a teacher. She is the youngest of her siblings; she has a brother and two sisters.

Her Father was a retired army major who worked with a Christian NGO called World Vision International, this afforded them the opportunity to travel to these nations of the world; Somalia, Kenya, Senegal and the UK.

She lost her mother to terminal illness at a very young age.

She spent her formative years in Kenya.

She began school at a Christian school called Rusinga in Kenya, she then moved to the International school of Dakar in Senegal.

She got back to Ghana when she was 8 years old. She had her secondary level education at the Akosombo International School where she was the sports prefect.

She then moved to the University of Ghana where she studied Economics and Psychology.

She was a lead singer of the University of Ghana Mass Choir.

She wanted to become an accountant while growing up because of her mum. At a point she also wanted to become an Aeronautic Engineer becomes it had sounded cool to her when another kid mentioned it.

She got her first opportunity to host a show on radio in 2000 when she was in her first year at the University.

Her elder sister who worked with Vibe FM at the time told her boss that her sister, Jessica talks a lot and would be suitable to host a new show called Teen Vibe at the station.

On the first, she literally froze and actually mispronounced a couple of words. She hosted the show for a year.

She then moved on to host a show called “The Big Launch”; a mid-morning show.

She then moved to Choice FM in 2004 then moved to Citi FM in 2005.

When she moved to Citi FM, she was placed in the Events and Promotions department and after a week, she co-hosted a show called City Drive with Nii Amah Dagadu.

They had a segment called “Battle of the Sexes” where they would raise questions like “Who was a better cheat; Men or Woman”.

Jessica walked out of set on one of such occasions where she felt disrespected by Dagadu.

Jessica is the Founder of Bikers Girls Gh, a group of lady bikers that ride across to educate and teach young children, about life, money, leadership issues among many other things.

She is currently the host of Sister Sister, an all women relationship talk show.

She is the CEO of The Voice Ova Company, one of Ghana’s leading advertising solutions providers.
